As the daughter of a creative and multicultural family, my interest in foreign languages became apparent at an early age. Coupled with a curiosity about different countries, cultures and unknown themes, studying translation was the logical consequence for me.
Even before graduating, I gathered experience at a Berlin translation agency in the areas of proofreading, translation and project management. Since 2005, I have been offering companies and private customers within Europe and beyond translation services from English and Italian into German.
From 2009 to 2013 I lived in Milan, where I continued to establish myself as a freelancer and gained a deeper understanding of Italy’s culture, also in a family context. I constantly work on both my English and Italian language skills by travelling through Europe as a tour guide with American and Canadian schoolchildren several times a year.
With my deep interest in a wide range of topics, it’s my style to search patiently until I find the “right” word and the text flows smoothly, then to apply the attention to detail necessary for ensuring correct spelling and grammar. As my customer, you can count not only on my punctuality, confidentiality and reliability – you can also rely on my expertise in translation, language and intercultural awareness. These vital skills are kept up to date by periods spent abroad as well as continuing professional training.
